Celebrating the effortless style, technical mastery, and legacy of street skating legend John Igei, this guest pro release marks a landmark moment for the Theories brand.

For his signature board graphic, John chose a deeply personal concept rooted in traditional Japanese art, focusing on the Komainu (dragon dog) spirit guardians. Inspired by the statues that flanked his family's home entrance in Okinawa during his youth, the graphic was hand-painted using traditional techniques by Japanese artist Oz, a close friend of the Theories family in Japan. Crafted from 7 plies of 100% North American hard rock maple, this deck is engineered for crisp, long-lasting pop, torsional rigidity, and high structural strength. Built in a versatile 8.25" width by 32" length with a 14.25" wheelbase and medium concave, it delivers a responsive, agile footprint perfectly suited for technical street skating, ledge lines, and park sessions.

Technical Specifications & Product Attributes

Engineered with premium 7-ply hard rock maple, guest pro geometry, and hand-painted traditional Japanese artwork:

Brand: Theories of Atlantis

Guest Pro: John Igei

Artist: Oz (Hand-painted using traditional Japanese techniques)

Model / Graphic: Dragon / Komainu

Concave: Medium Concave

Construction: 100% 7-Ply North American Hard Rock Maple

Top Ply: Assorted Dyed Wood Veneer Stain

8.00" Width x 31.875" Length

Wheelbase: 14.125"

Tail Length: 6.60"

Nose Length: 6.95"

Front Axle Width: 8.00"

Back Axle Width: 8.00"

Width: 8.25″

Length: 32.00″

Wheelbase: 14.25″

Axle Matching: Fits 8.25″ Axle Trucks (148 / 149 / 8.25″ size ideal)

8.5" x 32" x 14.25" WB

Nose: 7"

Tail: 6.6"

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0610/1286/9287/files/THEORIES-JOHN-IGEI-DRAGON-DECK-BOTTOM_1080x_d5cb0e07-928b-4846-a22a-0878d7c62777.webp?v=1791400774
